St. Maria in Koellme

St. Maria is a listed church in the village of Köllme in the district of Zappendorf of the unified municipality of Salzatal in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 55405 . It belongs to the parish of Müllerdorf in the parish of Halle-Saalkreis of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The sacred building consecrated to Mary the Mother of Jesus is located in the street Am Steinbruch in Köllme. Due to the sound openings in the church tower , it is assumed that the building is over 800 years old. The church tower was built in the Romanesque architectural style , while the windows of the nave are classicist and therefore either the nave was rebuilt or a repair was necessary.
