St. Nicholas in Goehrendorf

St. Nikolaus is a listed Protestant church in the village of Göhrendorf in the municipality of Nemsdorf-Göhrendorf in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is listed as a monument under registration number 094 05791 .

The patron saint of the sacred building, which can be found on Kirchstrasse in Göhrendorf, is Nikolaus von Myra . Until the 16th century the church was the branch church of Barnstädt and was then subordinate to the Church of St. Georg in Nemsdorf. The church is a Romanesque east tower church . Due to renovations, the upper part of the tower is Gothic and Baroque . The Gothic choir replaced the previous apse . In 1732 the nave was rebuilt in its current baroque form.
