Coordinates: 49 ° 48 ′ 50.5 ″ N , 6 ° 29 ′ 59.5 ″ E The St. Nikolaus Chapel is the Roman Catholic branch church of the Godendorf district ofthe Ralingen community in the Trier-Saarburg district ( Rhineland-Palatinate ).
history
Today's single-nave chapel was built in 1867 and replaced an older previous building, which was first mentioned in a document in 1570. There is a roof turret on the roof of the chapel. In 1929 a sacristy was added and in 1930 a cemetery was laid out around the church.
Furnishing
The neo-Gothic high altar was created in 1909 by Johann Peter Munich from Godendorf.
