history
The oldest part of St. Peter's Church is the Romanesque choir tower from the 12th / 13th centuries. Century. Romanesque building fabric has also been preserved in the masonry of the nave , which, like many churches in the Eifel region, probably had a square floor plan. According to a number stone from 1565, the nave was probably extended by a yoke at that time . In 1776 the sacristy was built. In 1891 the church was again expanded to the west. The representative new west facade received the two flank turrets. In 1935/36 the church was renovated and the tower was increased by one storey .
