The Catholic parish church of St. Roch is in the district of Broich in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ), Rochusstraße 307th

The building was built in 1904/05. It was entered under no. R 068 on February 26, 1992 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

location

The property is located northwest of the former mother parish of St. Helena on the road from Rheindahlen to Broich and Peel in a rural area that is still partially intact. To the southwest, behind the church, is the cemetery , to the east of the church is the rectory .

architecture

It is a gable-independent , single-nave, cross-rib vaulted brick building with four bays under a gable roof and a five -eighth choir closure facing south-west in neo-Gothic architectural design. Foundation stone laid in 1904, rectorate in 1907, parish elevation in 1911.
