description

The ensemble consists of flat-roofed building cubes and a separate bell tower. He is on the forecourt opposite the entrance to the church. The natural stone facade of the church stands out in the vicinity of the plastered residential buildings. The campanile is also made of roughly hewn stones. The cubic structure is characterized by inwardly bent end walls. They consist of exposed concrete while the side walls, which are separated by glass joints, are clad with rubble stones. A rounded chapel is added on the north side. The all-round glass joints design the walls and the flat roof from each other. The side walls rest on supports between which wall elements are set. The main portal in the west opens up the church interior.

The interior is also characterized by the quarry stone cladding on the side walls and the visible concrete elements. The pillar-free space is illuminated through the glass joints below the ceiling and between the wall panels. Two bench blocks with a central aisle face the raised chancel to the east. The baptismal font, tabernacle and ambo are grouped around the altar. To the north of this is the Marienkapelle and the organ in a niche in the south. Confessionals are set between the pillars of the side walls.
