The evangelical former church St. Trinitatis stands in today's arboretum in Bad Langensalza in the Unstrut-Hainich district in Thuringia .

history

The burial church at that time was built from 1734 to 1739 with travertine stones from St. Mary's Church, which was destroyed in the Thirty Years War . The pointed arch portal on the west side also comes from the church and was the entrance to the tombs .

Inside, the church is richly decorated in baroque style. The hall church has two-story wooden galleries and a pulpit altar from 1734.

After the political change

In 2008 and 2009 the cemetery church was transformed into a concert church by the city administration . It shines in a new splendor and has unique acoustics . It is now available to the public as a meeting place for events, church services and concerts.
