St. Stephan (Bad Langensalza)
The Protestant mountain church St. Stephan is in Bad Langensalza in the Unstrut-Hainich district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish Bad Langensalza in the parish of Mühlhausen of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .
history
The church, first mentioned in a document as a chapel in 1196 , is the oldest sacred building in Bad Langensalza. The church developed from an original monk's chapel through renovations and additions.
In 1394 the Gothic renovation took place . The stained glass windows are foundations of the citizens in the 19th century. The coats of arms of the donor families can still be seen on the ceilings . The pulpit was built in the Renaissance style in 1590 .

The organ of the church was built in 1884/1985 by the Bad Langensalza organ builder Friedrich Petersilie . It is a romantic work with a mechanical action and Bark levers . Your disposition is as follows:
