Stacy is a city in Chisago County in the US state of Minnesota . It is located on the West Branch Sunrise River . In 2010 Stacy had 1,456 residents.

According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 3.0 km² , of which 2.8 km² is land and 0.2 km² (= 4.35%) is water. The Interstate 35 leads in north-south direction by the urban area. The city lies west of two lakes, Mud Lake in the northeast and the Sunrise River Pool in the southeast, where the West Branch Sunrise River meets the Sunrise River .
Demographics
At the time of the United States Census 2000, Stacy lived in 1278 people. The population density was 448.6 people per km ². There were 474 housing units at an average of 166.4 per km ². The population of Stacy was 96.79% White , 0.55% Black or African American , 1.25% Native American , 0.16% Asian , 0% Pacific Islander , 0.16% said to be of other races and 1.10% named two or more races. 0.94% of the population declared to be Hispanic or Latino of any race.
The residents of Stacy were distributed to 466 households out of which 42.1% had children under 18 years of age. 48.9% of households were married, 13.5% had a female head of the household without a husband and 30.0% were not families. 22.5% of households were made up of individuals and someone lived in 5.2% of all households aged 65 years or older. The average household size was 2.74 and the average family size was 3.23.
