The Chisago County is a county in the US -amerikanischen State Minnesota . In 2010 , the county had 53,887 residents and a population density of 49.8 people per square kilometer. The county seat is Center City , named for its central location between Taylors Falls and Chisago City .
Chisago County is part of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area .

history
Chisago County was formed on March 31, 1851 from parts of Ramsey County and Washington County. It was named after Chisago Lake , the largest lake in the county.
