The Stade Fernand-Fournier is a football stadium with athletics track in Arles , Bouches-du-Rhône in the southern French region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . The venue holds 2,500 spectators. Around the stadium are the Arles tennis park, another football field and two swimming pools. The AC Arles played here until May 2009 because the club in the Ligue 2 rise and the stadium did not meet the requirements. So they moved to the Parc des Sports in Avignon, about 40 km away . To show more solidarity with the new venue, the club renamed itself AC Arles-Avignon . Today the stadium in Arles is used by the club as a training center.
