The Stadio Comunale di Monigo is a stadium in the Italian city of Treviso . It is mainly used for rugby games.
history
The stadium is the home of the Benetton Rugby Treviso team . The club plays its home games in the Pro14 professional league in this stadium . The building was constructed from 1970 and inaugurated in 1973. It holds 6,700 spectators and has two grandstands . When more than 10,000 spectators were expected for the match between the rugby teams of Italy and Scotland on January 24, 1998, the capacity was increased with additional stands on both sides.
Premises
In addition to the playing field and the spectator areas, there are three changing rooms, two for the athletes and one for the referees. There is also the infirmary, two bars and a press room with a press stand and electrical connections.
