Asiago Hockey

The Palazzo del ghiaccio di Asiago , commonly referred to as Pala Hodegart ( Garden of Hode ) (the name PalaOdegar incorrectly adopted in Italian is also widespread ) is a closed ice rink in Asiago, Italy . Since its opening, it has been the home ground of the first division Asiago Hockey , an ice hockey team .

history

The ice rink was built in 1977, roofed over in 1986 and has since been rebuilt several times. The capacity increased - during the renovation in 1992 - to today's value. In 1998 the hall was completely closed, and in 2003 new boards and air conditioning were installed. In 2012 the roof of the building was fitted with around 1,750 solar panels.

The Pala Hodegart now offers a total of 3,000 spectators, of which 2,200 are available.

In addition to the ice rink, the building contains other rooms such as offices, conference rooms and a VIP lounge, which are used by the local club.
