The ship
With a length of almost 32 meters and a ship width of only 5.10 meters, the ship can navigate all of the region's smaller bodies of water, such as the Griebnitz Canal. The shallow draft of only 0.90 meters makes it possible to adhere to the scheduled routes even at low water levels. The ship is approved for 160 passengers. In the air-conditioned interior there is seating for 94 people. There are also around 90 seats in the outside area on the upper deck. The city of Potsdam is powered by a diesel engine. A generator powered by a diesel engine is available on board to provide power. An electric bow thruster improves maneuverability. A small galley with a counter area and a service team, adapted to the number of guests and the area of travel, are available for passenger care to provide catering for the passengers. the ship is mainly used as required in scheduled regular services on the Havel lake routes. But it can also be chartered for events.
