The Stallebach , also Stallerbach , is a stream in the municipality of St. Jakob in Defereggen ( Lienz district ). The stream rises in the Villgraten Mountains and flows into the Schwarzach with beef ham .
course
The Stallebach rises in a high valley of the Villgrater Mountains between the Hochkreuzspitze in the west, the Hellböden in the south and the Pfannspitze in the east. It then flows in a northerly direction through alpine terrain and after around 2 kilometers of flowing east it passes the Jesachalm, in the area of which the Jesachbach joins on the right. After the Jesachalm, the banks of the Stallebach are increasingly wooded, with the lower reaches of the Stallebach running through a forest gorge and falling over a waterfall. In the lower reaches of the Stallebach passes the Alpe Stalle, the Vordere Stalle and then enters the valley of the Schwarzach. Here the stream flows east past the village of Rinderschinken and finally flows into the Schwarzach.
