A stamen-corolla tube is a tube formation in a flower , which includes the base of the petals and the stamens . It usually arises late in the flower development through growth below the corolla tube and the base of the stamens. The bases of the stamens can be stretched so that they reach down as bulges on the inside of the stamen-corolla tube to the flower base.

Such tube formation is characteristic, for example, in the tubular and ray flowers of the daisy family (Asteraceae) or in the flowers of the gentian family and various primroses .
