from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A regular company was the company at a training facility of the Bundeswehr , to which all teams and NCOs of the regular personnel belonged. It was led by the company commander with the rank of captain who was the disciplinary superior of all members of the company.

At the artillery school in Idar-Oberstein, the parent company was called “parent battery ”. In the German Navy existed "ship trunk companies".

Parent companies were partially renamed to headquarters and the company commander to the "commandant headquarters".
