Stanislaw Lubomirski

Stanisław Lubomirski (* 1704 ; † July 19, 1793 in Warsaw ) was a Polish nobleman , magnate and imperial prince in the HRR .

Life

Stanisław came from the Polish magnate family of the Lubomirskis . He was the son of Jerzy Alexander Lubomirski (1669–1735) and Joanna von Starzhausen, thus a great-great-grandson of Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirski . From 1764 he held the state office of a voivod of Bracław ( Voivodeship Bracław ) and from 1772 of Kiev ( Voivodeship Kiev with headquarters in Zhytomyr , Kiev was Russian from 1667 ). For his services to the Polish-Lithuanian aristocratic republic , he was awarded the Order of the White Eagle . Stanisław was one of the richest magnates in Poland at the time, belonged to the Lubomirskis' fortune, along with extensive latifundia , 31 towns and 738 villages.

Marriage and offspring

Stanisław Lubomirski married Ludwika Honorata Pociej († 1786) in 1740 . He had five children with her:

  • Franciszek Ksawery Lubomirski (1747–1819), Polish count, imperial prince in the HRR and Russian general;
  • Józef Lubomirski (1751–1817), Polish castellan, Starost, general and imperial prince in the HRR;
  • Michał Lubomirski (1752–1825), Polish general and imperial prince in the HRR;
  • Aleksander Lubomirski (1765–1808), Polish castellan, French general and imperial prince in the HRR;
  • Ludwika Lubomirska († 1829), married from 1775 to Józef Makary Potocki ;
