Stanislaw Andrejewitsch Lyubschin ( Russian Станислав Андреевич Любшин ; born April 6, 1933 in Moscow ) is a Russian theater and cinema actor who was awarded the honorary title of People's Artist by the RSFSR in 1981 and has so far appeared in over 50 films.

Life

Stanislaw Lyubschin was born in Moscow in 1933, where he also grew up. In 1959 he graduated from the Moscow Theater School " MSSchtschepkin " and began to play regularly in theater productions that same year. He also got his first film role in 1959. His breakthrough as a film actor came from the early 1960s, but he continued to appear in well-known Moscow theaters, such as the Chekhov Art Theater in Moscow or the Taganka Theater . Even at the age of over 70, Stanislaw Lyubschin still plays in new Russian films.

The Soviet film magazine Sowjetskij Ekran ( Советский экран ) named him the best Soviet actor of the year in 1968 for his role in the film Щит и меч (German: Sword and Shield) and again in 1979 for his role in Пять вечеров (German: Five Evenings) .
