Stanislaw Klimek (agricultural scientist)

Stanislaw Klimek (born January 7, 1949 ) is a German agricultural scientist, librarian and specialist book author .

Life

Stanislaw Klimek studied agricultural sciences , obtained a doctorate in agricultural sciences (Dr. agr.) After years and was employed as a scientific assistant at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen (JLU) . Together with Martin Zoschke, he worked there at the Center for Continental Agricultural and Economic Research of Eastern Europe and published relevant monographs on flax cultivation as well as field bean , lupine and triticale research in Poland from 1988 to 1994 as part of the Eastern European studies of the universities of the State of Hesse .

He is the librarian of the Giessen University Library in the department with a map collection of over 800 old maps and some globes as well as with holdings of the Hessian Bibliography .
