The Starfire Sports is a soccer complex in the city of Tukwila in the US state of Washington , metropolitan area Seattle . The main square of the facility is the Starfire Sports Stadium and has a capacity of 4,500 spectators and was, or is, home to various semi- and fully professional soccer teams from Seattle.
history
The first sports facilities in the complex, including the Starfire Sports Stadium, were built in 2003 under the auspices of the architects' office HOK Sport ; the entire facility was officially opened in 2005. Starfire Sports had already hosted several home games for the Seattle Sounders since 2003 , and has been a festival since the same year Home of the women's soccer team of the same name. In 2013, in addition, the newly established played NWSL - Franchise of the Seattle Reign FC Starfire Sports. The soccer field in the main stadium uses artificial turf from the FieldTurf brand as the surface, as do the indoor and some other fields , while the most recently built fields are natural grass fields .
