Statomotor activity

Statomotor activity includes the on holding u. Set reflexes as well as statokinetic (body self-perception, i.e. sensation of one's own body , its absolute body position, body acceleration, etc.) reflexes based motor skills in the service of posture and maintenance of balance . This affects sitting and standing , among other things .

Statomotor skills also describe the complexity of posture and movement mechanisms for regulating balance, straightening and walking . Disturbances arise when there is no or delayed development of posture control, motor functions and differentiated movement sequences .
