The Oberrabenstein reservoir is a dam west of Chemnitz in Saxony . The lake was laid out between 1972 and 1976 as the core area of the municipal business "Naherholungszentrum Oberrabenstein" and opened in 1976 as a bathing lake with rowing operations.
