Steeple Aston
Steeple Aston is a village above the valley of the River Cherwell in Oxfordshire , England, about 11 km (7 miles) west of Bicester and 16 km (10 miles) south of Banbury .

The 13th century church with perpendicular extensions is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul .
Pub
Steeple Aston has a pub , The Red Lion by Hook Norton Brewery , which opened in 1903. There used to be The White Lion which opened in 1870. There is also The Holt Hotel on the outskirts of the community on the A4260 about 1½ km south of the village.
Sports
The Steeple Aston Cricket Club is known for winning around 3/4 of all events .

Steeple Aston is east of the A4260 from Banbury to Oxford . With Bicester it is connected to the east on the B4030. About 1½ km south-east of the village is Heyford railway station with trains to Banbury, Oxford and Birmingham . On the outskirts of the village there is the Beeches Light Railway , a private narrow-gauge railway owned by the former director of a railway company Adrian Shooter .
