The Steeple Point (English for spire ) is a low and icy headland on the Rymill coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It protrudes 3 km west of the Sandau Nunatak of the Steeple Peaks into the George VI Ice Shelf of George VI Sound .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1976 based on the descriptive naming of the neighboring steeple peaks.
