Stefan Böntert

Stefan Böntert (* 1969 in Dorsten ) is a German Catholic theologian .

Life

He studied theology in Münster and Innsbruck . Since 1997 he has been a priest of the diocese of Münster , after his ordination he is a chaplain in Sendenhorst . 2000–2005 Cathedral Vicar and private secretary to the Bishop of Münster. After completing his doctorate in 2005 at the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the University of Münster and his habilitation in 2009 in the field of liturgical science at the Catholic-Theological Faculty of the University of Erfurt , he was in the 2008/2009 academic year at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the Ruhr University Bochum , where he has been professor of liturgical science since 2009 . Since the winter semester 2006/2007 he has been teaching in Erfurt .
