Stefan Bodo Würffel

Stefan Bodo Würffel (born March 28, 1944 in Hann. Münden ) is a German literary and media scholar with a Swiss passport. Until 2009 he worked as a university lecturer in Freiburg im Üechtland (CH).

Life

Würffel studied German philology , history , education and philosophy at the University of Göttingen from 1964 to 1969 . He then worked as a scientist at the Universities of Göttingen, Geneva, Tübingen and Zurich, among others. From 1994 to 2009 he taught as a full professor for modern German literature at the University of Friborg in Freiburg im Üechtland (CH).

His research interests were Heinrich Heine , the fin de siècle , GDR literature , radio plays , film and music theater .
