Stefan Dotzler

Stefan Dotzler (born December 10, 1960 in Munich ) is a former German cross-country skier .

Life

Dotzler was a member of the Munich Hochvogel Ski Club . Between 1982 and 1984 he achieved eight placements among the top twenty in world cup races . His best result was a third place over 15 km in January 1983 at the race in Reit im Winkl . At the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo , he was a member of the German 4 × 10 km relay, which took sixth place. In the individual races over 15 km and 30 km, he finished 30th and 37th. Four years later, at the Winter Games in Calgary , he finished 40th over 30 km.

After the end of his active career, Stefan Dotzler started his coaching career. As an exercise bike, he looks after his son Hannes , an Olympic participant at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi .

He is a cross-country trainer in the coaching staff of the customs ski team .
