Stefan Geosits
Stefan Geosits , also Geošić , (born August 17, 1927 in Prostrum , Hungary ) is a Catholic pastor from Klingenbach in Burgenland , theologian, writer and translator.
Career
He completed his university education in Szombathely and Vienna . From 1952 to 1955 he was chaplain in Nikitsch , Parndorf and Croatian Minihof . From 1955 to 1958 he studied in Rome and Jerusalem .
From 1958 he was pastor in Klingenbach, where he distinguished himself primarily as a translator of plays and director of the Burgenland-Croatian theater group. Geosits translated the Bible into Burgenland- Croatian and wrote monographs on regional history.
