Stefan Glaser (born August 28, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Stefan Glaser played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern when he was young and took part in the U-18 European Championship with the youth national team in 1983 . In this competition he was used in all three games, but Germany was eliminated in the preliminary round. In 1983/84 he played his first and only Bundesliga game for FCK. Glaser was substituted on in the 74th minute of the game against Eintracht Frankfurt (0: 3) on the last day of the match . After the end of the season he left the Palatinate and went to the second division club SV Darmstadt 98 . Here he initially got more playing time (90 games in three years). In the promotion season 1987/88, however, he had only played six games and left Darmstadt after a total of 96 second division games. That ended his professional career.
Glaser went to the Oberliga Südwest to Wormatia Worms . Two years later, in 1990, he moved to VfR Bürstadt , with whom he played for three years in the lower table regions of the Oberliga Hessen . From 1993 he was active for SG Egelsbach , with which he rose in the first season and played in the Regionalliga Süd from 1994 to 1997 . After the station SG Hoechst (1997 to 1999, Oberliga) he played again from 1999 to 2001 for Wormatia Worms, also in fourth class. Then he ended his football career.
Today he plays for the traditional Egelsbacher team, which competes under the name FC Egelsbach GALA eV.
