Stefan Koerber

Stefan Körber (born March 5, 1947 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a former German politician .

After graduating from high school in 1965, Körber studied technical cybernetics and received his doctorate in 1973. In 1987, an additional course in technical school education followed . He worked for 13 years in the commercial sector in the field of technology and controlling , after which he was a lecturer in technical cybernetics and computer science for four years.

In 1990, Körber joined the SPD , where he became a board member of the SPD Brandenburg . From March to October 1990 he was a member of the first and only freely elected People's Chamber in the GDR. After reunification, he sat in the Brandenburg state parliament from 1990 to 1994 . He was directly elected in the constituency of Brandenburg II. In September 1993, however, Körber left the SPD. Until the end of the electoral term he sat as a non-attached person in the state parliament.
