Stefan Kuhlins

Stefan Kuhlins (born July 10, 1965 in Lübeck ) is a German business IT specialist .

Stefan Kuhlins grew up and went to school in Lübeck. He studied at the University of Mannheim Economics computer science and doctorate followed in this subject. Since October 2009 he has been teaching as a professor in the "Technical Logistics Management" course at Heilbronn University .

He mainly deals with electronic markets and online price comparison services . Kuhlins became known for his development of the shopinfo.xml standard with the associated reference implementation Elm @ r and the Elm @ r module for the open source shop software osCommerce , which is now used by online shops as a technical infrastructure for transmitting product data to online - Price comparison services are used.

He also implemented a programming interface (API) for the Gimahhot shopping platform.
