Stefan Metz (born October 15, 1951 in Kaufbeuren ) is a former German ice hockey player .
Career
Stefan Metz began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown with ESV Kaufbeuren , for whose professional team he was active in the ice hockey Bundesliga from 1970 to 1973 . He then played for five years for its league rivals Berlin ice skating club . With the capital city, he won the German championship title in the 1973/74 and 1975/76 seasons . Following the 1977/78 season, he ended his career.
International
For Germany , Metz took part in the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck , where he and his team won the bronze medal.
