Stefan Morgenstern
Stefan Morgenstern (* 1960 in Cologne ) is a German stage and costume designer .
Life
Morgenstern studied architecture after graduating from high school. In 1989 he finished his studies and started a career in theater. In 1993 he began to work as a freelance stage and costume designer.
His main focus is on dance theater . He designed sets and equipment for the choreographers Anna Vita , Torsten Händler, Michael Pink , Mauro de Candia, Bridget Breiner , Georg Reischl, Stephen Shropshire, Daniela Kurz, Renato Zanella , Roberto di Oliveira, Matjash Mrozewski, Lauri Stellings, Ivo Bärtsch, Antonio Gomes and Davide Bombana .
He works for the Staatstheater Stuttgart , the Staatstheater Nürnberg , the Nationaltheater Mannheim , the Deutsche Oper Berlin , the Staatstheater Saarbrücken , the Staatsoper Vienna , the Volksoper Vienna , the Aalto-Theater Essen, the Theater Augsburg , the Theater Plauen-Zwickau , the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg and the Compagnie De Anima in Rio de Janeiro.
