Stefan Reschke (born December 23, 1965 ) is a German chess player and trainer.
Life
He has been the Hessian state trainer since 1999, especially in the youth field. He has been the A-coach of the German Chess Federation since 2004.
In 1994 he won the international IM round-robin tournament in Giessen and in 1995 the Christmas Open in Erfurt . He won the city championship of Frankfurt am Main in 2000, 2002 and 2003.
In the German Federal Chess League, Reschke played for SV 03/25 Koblenz from 1991 to 1994, for SV 1920 Hofheim in the 1994/95 season and for SG Bochum 31 from 1995 to 1999 . From the 1999/00 season he played for SV Oberursel in the Oberliga Ost and the 2nd Bundesliga East and West, and from the 2006/07 season for the VSG Offenbach in the Oberliga Ost. In 2016 in Waldbronn , he won the team classification of the 4th German championship in Chess960- Schnellschach with the Chess Tigers team.
He was awarded the title of International Master in the second half of 1994. He is listed as inactive at the World Chess Federation FIDE , since he has not played an Elo rated game since a game in the Oberliga Ost B in March 2017 .
