Stefan Track
Stefan Track (born September 15, 1971 in Aalen ) is a German singer .
Life
Stefan Track grew up in the southern German city of Aalen . After graduating from school, he trained as a nurse , which he completed in 1990. In addition to his work as a nurse, he worked as a model for fashion shows and photo series. In 1996 he founded the dance formation "ACT OF CONTRITION", in which he actively worked as a choreographer and dancer . Later he gained his first experience as a singer here.
In 2000, Stefan Track was engaged as a permanent member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich, where he played in productions such as “Hello Dolly” and “Gräfin Mariza”. In 2003 he played one of the leading roles in the film "Killertal" and continued to work as a dancer and model.
In 2005, Stefan Track became a member of the Dschinghis Khan group . Here he was hired to replace the deceased member Louis Hendrik Potgieter and completed the successful reunion concert with the group on December 17, 2005 in Moscow in front of around 60,000 spectators. Here he also distinguished himself as a choreographer. In 2006 Stefan Track left the band and started with the solo project "Rocking Son of Dschinghis Khan". For this purpose, the album "Rising" was created in 2007, on which Dschinghis Khan's greatest hits were newly produced and modernized. In the following years he toured with his formation very successfully through countries such as Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and America. With his partner Marichal Navarro he emigrated to Mallorca in 2009 . Here both, together with Christian Marcus, run the Goli restaurant in Santanyí .
In 2019, Stefan Track and Wolfgang Heichel decided, after years of separation, to appear together again as Dschinghis Khan and to strengthen their common trademark rights. This was followed by the release of the single "The Streets of Paris" in collaboration with the successful producer Luis Rodriguez (producer) ( Modern Talking ), with whom they are also working on a new Dschinghis Khan album. Since then, both have been successfully on tour around the world again as the original formation Dschinghis Khan.

Stefan Track has been actively involved in animal welfare for years with his partner Marichal Navarro . They were accompanied by the VOX format hundkatzemaus for 11 episodes (2012). In their private lives both of them live in seclusion in the southeast of Mallorca and have created a refuge for stray dogs and other animals there.
