Stefan Ulm (born December 21, 1975 in Berlin ) is a German canoeist .

The canoe racer of the RKV Berlin won the silver medal in a four-person kayak over 1000 m at the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 .

For this he received - together with his comrades - the silver bay leaf.

He won five world championship titles and was athlete spokesman for the German national canoe racing team for several years .

Ulm ended his career in 2005 and then became national trainer with the German Canoe Association . He worked as a federal base trainer at the federal performance center in Duisburg . Since 2011 he has been in the sports funding the federal police at the federal police sports school Kienbaum worked as canoe coach.

Stefan Ulm has been married to the former vice world kayak champion Ute Pleßmann since 2007 .
