Stefan Vinke
Stefan Vinke (* 1966 in Georgsmarienhütte ) is a German opera singer (dramatic hero tenor ).
Vinke studied singing and church music at the Cologne University of Music and Dance . First engagements followed in the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and in the Mönchengladbach Theater . From 1999 to 2005 he had an engagement as a youth hero tenor at the Nationaltheater Mannheim . During this time he made frequent guest appearances at the Saarland State Theater in Saarbrücken . His roles include Florestan, Lohengrin, Siegmund and Tristan. In 2006 he made his debut as Siegfried at the Cologne Opera . This was followed by appearances at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, at the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon, at the German National Theater Weimer and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin . and at the Bayreuth Festival . He sings the entire dramatic repertoire of Richard Wagner . In 2011 he was in Bayreuth in the Meistersinger von Nürnberg (von Stolzing) and Tristan und Isolde (Tristan). In 2015, 2016 and 2017 he returned to Bayreuth as Siegfried ( Siegfried and Götterdämmerung ). In September 2016 he stepped in as Lohengrin at the Vienna State Opera .
In addition to his presence on the opera stage, Stefan Vinke is a sought-after concert singer whose repertoire covers all epochs of music history. His concert tours take him all over Europe, as well as North, Central and South America, Asia and Israel. With his wife he runs a singing studio in Hargesheim .
