Stefan Voll

Stefan Voll (* 1961 ) is a German sports scientist and university professor .

Life

From 1982 to 1987, Voll completed a teaching degree in German and sport at the University of Regensburg . After his legal clerkship in Munich and Feuchtwangen , he worked as a teacher at the Burgkunstadt grammar school from 1989 to 1998 . During this time, namely in 1993, Voll submitted his doctoral thesis. In 1998 he moved to the sports center of the Otto-Friedrich University in Bamberg , where he took over in 2002. In 2003, Voll completed his habilitation on the subject of “Values ​​and Attitude Structures in School Sports”. In 2006 he took up a professorship for applied sports science at the University of Bamberg.

Voll's research focuses on physical education, he dealt with questions of ethics in sport, also in connection with doping, from 2004 to 2006 he headed the research project “Team psychological parameters of effective break-out in basketball”, examined the topic “The handball world championship” in 2007 and their usefulness in sports didactics ”. In 2011 he examined basketball player Dirk Nowitzki and his strength in the free throw.
