Stefan Rudolph Weiss , also Stephan Weiss , (born August 17, 1899 in Vienna , Austria-Hungary ; † August 13, 1984 in Zurich , Switzerland ) was an Austrian film composer , songwriter and pop composer .

Weiss began his artistic career as a pop composer in the 1920s. With the beginning of the sound film era, it was also brought in for entire compositions as background music for cinema films.
