Stefanie Remlinger (born November 19, 1970 in Ellwangen ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). She has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives since 2011 . Her political focus is on education, vocational training and the household.

Life

Remlinger studied languages, economic and cultural studies at the University of Würzburg and at the University of Passau . Since moving to Berlin in 1999, she has been politically active alongside her job, including at Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in Pankow . In 2005 she was elected chairman of the Pankow district association, and from 2006 to 2011 she was spokeswoman for the parliamentary group in the Pankow district assembly . Her political priorities were above all in the areas of youth and education. In addition, she has been the spokesperson for the state working group on education of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Berlin since 2009.

In the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2011 , Stefanie Remlinger moved into the Berlin House of Representatives as a successor on the state list of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen. She was also a candidate for the constituency of Pankow 9 , but was subject to Nikolaus Karsten (SPD). As the spokesperson for education, vocational training and budgetary policy, she is a member of the Committee on Education, Youth and Family, the main committee and the subcommittees for districts, product budget and human resources. In 2013 she was also elected deputy chairman of her group.

In November 2015 Stefanie Remlinger was re-elected as a candidate for constituency 9 in Pankow in the run-up to the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 . She was in eleventh place on the state list of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen, through which she entered parliament in the 2016 elections for the Berlin House of Representatives.
