The Sandy Tate River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Queensland . It is located in the Far North Queensland region .
geography
The river rises about 130 kilometers west-southwest of Innisfail in the Atherton Tablelands , part of the Great Dividing Range . The Sandy Tate River flows northwest and flows into the Tate River about ten kilometers south of Oondann .
