Stefanie Simon

Stefanie Simon (born October 6, 1950 in Markneukirchen ; born Stefanie Wetzel ; real name Stefanie Wölke ) is a German singer and actress .

Life

Stefanie Simon moved to Berlin at the age of one with her father, the woodwind instrument maker Werner Wetzel and her mother Elisabeth Wetzel. She studied in the musical / show department at the Berlin University of the Arts ; in 1974 she graduated.

The pop singer toured Germany with Rudi Carrell , Jürgen Marcus , Paul Kuhn and Peter Petrel during her studies . From 1969 to 1983 she was the permanent assistant singer in the radio show "Second Breakfast" with John Hendrik at the radio station Rias Berlin .

Since the 1970s, Simon has had regular engagements on various cruise ships, such as the Maxim Gorki , Sagafjord , MS Astor and the MS Europa , the well-known cruise ship from the television series The Dream Ship .

In addition to numerous music productions, Simon has also appeared as a solo artist and with her singing partner Bert Beel since 1990 in the duet "Steffi & Bert". In several television programs they were seen as a hit couple. Several CD releases appeared. In 1992, both of them were guests several times in the popular music parade ( NDR ). Both still perform at galas and pop revues in Berlin and Brandenburg. Since 2007 they have been designing the evening staged by Beel at the Opernpalais Berlin as a homage to Harald Juhnke . They have been guest there with various programs (mostly with reference to Berlin) since 2003.

Simon is touring Germany with various music and entertainment projects, including alongside Julian FM Stoeckel . She currently plays the role of Lilo Dittrich in the television production Berlin - Tag & Nacht (RTL 2).

Stefanie Simon lives in Berlin.
