From 2005 to 2007 Bar was active in alpine skiing, after which he switched to speed skiing, where he has been in the World Cup since April 17, 2008 . At the Speed Ski World Championships 2009 in Vars , he finished second in the Speed Downhill Junior class. The 2009 season Bar has concluded with a win and second place in the overall World Cup title in the Speed Downhill Junior class. In the 2010 season he won three races and the overall World Cup in the Speed Downhill Junior class. At his second World Speed Ski Championships in Verbier in 2011 , he finished third in the Speed Downhill class. In the 2011 season he also won three races and the overall World Cup in the speed downhill class. Bar was on the podium four times in the 2012 season and came second in the overall World Cup in the Speed Downhill class. At his third speed ski world championships in 2013 in Vars, he came in 15th place in the speed downhill class.
