Stefano Canzio (director)

Stefano Canzio (born November 28, 1915 in Catanzaro , † June 14, 1991 in Morlupo ) was an Italian documentary filmmaker and play film director .

Life

Canzio, who came to Rome in the 1930s, was editor-in-chief of Settimana Incom as a journalist and made his first documentary film in 1941 ; he was also one of the first television directors in his country (for Cronache del cinema e del teatro ). In the 1950s he turned increasingly to the feature film and made some films himself; for others he has worked in various functions, including scriptwriting , commentary writer and producer .

In the 1970s he worked for TeleDiffusione Italiana - TeleNapoli .
