Stefansberg is a district of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Maisach in the Fürstenfeldbruck district . On May 1, 1978 Stefansberg came to Maisach as a district of the previously independent municipality of Germerswang .
The church village is about two kilometers northwest of Maisach.
history
Stefansberg was first mentioned in 1260 and was called Westerberg in the 13th century. The place was a bailiwick of Haimhausen Castle . The Munich citizen Johann Prenner sold this to the Fürstenfeld monastery in 1396 . The property of the 14 properties was divided in the 17th and 18th centuries. Century to barely owners. From 1818 until the end of 1977 Stefansberg belonged to the municipality of Germerswang.
