Steffen Cieszynski

Steffen Cieszynski (born December 25, 1989 in Schönebeck (Elbe) ) is a German handball player .

Life

In 2006, Steffen Cieszynski , who lived in Magdeburg at the time, became world champion student. In 2006 he played his first handball game in the 2nd Bundesliga for the Dessau-Roßlauer HV . Later, the 1.84-meter Cieszynski first played for SV Oebisfelde , then for the HG 85 Koethen and switched in 2014 to the third league playing SV Anhalt Bernburg . There the back player became the team captain and record goal scorer of the club. In 2018 the contract was extended to 2021. Nevertheless, Cieszynski switched to HC Aschersleben in 2019 for private reasons .

In 2006, Cieszynski was allowed to enter the Golden Book of the City of Magdeburg in recognition of his sporting success as a school world champion.

Cieszynski has one son. Professionally, he is the managing director of a company for advertising installations.
