Steffen Coßbau (born January 1, 1988 in Magdeburg ) is a German handball player .
Coßbau played in his youth with TuS Magdeburg and Fermersleber SV 1895 . From 2007 to 2011, the left wing player was under contract with SC Magdeburg . From 2011 to 2013 Coßbau ran for the second division club Eintracht Hildesheim . He then signed a contract with third division club HSC 2000 Coburg . With Coburg, he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2014 and the Bundesliga in 2016. He ended his career after the 2016/17 season. Since January 2019, he has been playing for third division club SV Anhalt Bernburg .
In 2009 Steffen Coßbau became world champion with the German junior national team.
