Steffen Disch

Steffen Disch (born February 26, 1972 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German star and television chef.

Life

Disch started his training at the Colombi Hotel in Freiburg with Alfred Klink from 1989 to 1992 . He then worked at the Bamberger Reiter in Berlin (1994–1996), the Hotel Königshof (1997–1998) and the Tantris Restaurant (1999–2000) in Munich and as a chef at the Forsthaus Ilkahöhe in Tutzing (2000–2002) and in Ifen Hotel in the Kleinwalsertal (2002-2004).

Steffen Disch has been the owner and chef de cuisine at Raben in Horben near Freiburg since May 2005 . There, his culinary art is mainly a regionally inspired gourmet cuisine.

Disch was accepted into the group of Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe (JRE) in 2007, seven years later he was awarded a Michelin star . Disch has often been seen on television. The "AufgeDischt" format has existed since 2017.
