Steffen Hombaum

Steffen Hombaum (* August 11, 1969 ; † August 5, 2018 in Berlin ) was chosen as the first Mister Germany in 1993 .

Life

The bank clerk Hombaum, who comes from Trebitz in Saxony-Anhalt and whose hobbies include fitness training and driving, was elected the first Mister Germany on May 6, 1993 in Schwäbisch Gmünd . He qualified for the competition as Mister Saxony-Anhalt . In the election for Mister Europe in October of the same year in Gera , he took second place behind the 22-year-old French Arnaud Van Pul

Hombaum, authorized officer in Commerzbank , most recently lived in Berlin and died in August 2018 shortly before his 49th birthday a cancer . His funeral took place on September 1st in Trebitz.
